Muso is set to hold 500 live shows at 100 locations across the country during June and July, championing live music, artists and the fans who support them.

After months of planning, Muso, the Australian live entertainment booking and management platform, has finally announced the lineup and venues for their highly anticipated The rise of the pub gig round.

Kicking off this month, the tour features some of Australia’s most beloved and up-and-coming local artists at a number of favorite pubs and venues around the country, including The Chippo Hotel (Sydney), Lazybones Lounge (Sydney), Lucky Coq (Melbourne), Imperial Hotel (Melbourne), Kings Beach Tavern (Sunshine Coast), Regatta Hotel (Brisbane), Parkside Hotel (Adelaide), The Aviary (Perth) and many more.

Back on track after being rescheduled due to COVID, Muso is set to hold 500 live shows at 100 locations nationwide during the months of June and July, championing live music, artists and the fans who support them.

Launched to help restore local live music across the country, with support from Creative Victoria, the City of Sydney and the Australian Government’s RISE Fund, Rise of the pub concert will reinvigorate the classic “pub gig” that fans love, while giving back to venues and putting artists in the spotlight at many beloved local establishments.

Alan Jin, COO and co-founder of Muso, said: “Since COVID has arrived, we have been working on a plan to bring local live music back to the Australian scene. Like anyone who loves a concert, we’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time – to see all 500 shows come to life now is hugely rewarding. We look forward to joining thousands of Australians as they cheer on the incredible talent showcased in the tour lineup at so many iconic locations.

Offering fans two months of unforgettable experiences, participating Victorian venues include Penny’s Bandroom in Brunswick, Prince Alfred in Melbourne, Wandi Pub in Wandiligong, The Red Hill Hotel in Chewton, The Shed Theater in Main Ridge, Delatite Hotel in Mansfield, Sarah Sands in Melbourne and Color in Carlton, among many others.

Some of the artists announced for the Victorian run include Aila Fei, Jimmy O’Hare, Izzy Day, Jamie MacDowell, Adam Sassi, Chantelle Beale, Jo Jodun, Le Fleur, Simon Phillips, Zac Shepherd, Romanie, Acton Wickens, Seb Szabo, Emma Volard, ALZZY and Rogerson, among many others.
